St Ives, Cornwall

The Crow's Nest

Sleeps 2-4, No Smoking

The Crow's Nest is an established holiday cottage in the penthouse studio of the Harbour View Apartments (near left side of picture).

It is situated directly on The Wharf (above Aspects offices) and has uninterrupted and panoramic views over the whole of St Ives harbour.

The view is best appreciated from the sheltered balcony where you can sit down to eat, sunbathe or just sit and watch the world go by.

Sitting indoors on the double sofa-bed gives you equally good views, as does sitting at the dining table or even doing the cooking or washing up!

The balcony is glass fronted and is partly sheltered so can be used in poor weather.

The apartment is centrally heated and double glazed so is ideal for both summer and winter holiday use.

It contains a pull down double bed and a double sofa-bed, both of which easily fold away to maintain the bright spacious feel of the apartment.

The kitchen comes fully equipped for self catering, with ample equipment, sitting and dining facilities for four guests.

A flat screen TV with Freeview and a DVD player are provided for your entertainment.

Linen is also provided although you will need to provide your own towels.

The bathroom has a bath with shower over, basin and toilet.

Access to the apartment is up several flights of stairs and so isn't ideal for the very infirm.

St Ives,  Cornwall

St Ives has been described as the "Jewel in the Crown" of the Cornish Riviera.

Once a simple fishing village it has grown into an artists colony and popular holiday destination.

In its quaint cobbled streets you will discover galleries and surf shops, restaurants and pasty shops, fashion boutiques and bars, bookshops and beach goods.

Surrounding the town are no fewer than five beaches where you can relax in deck chairs, try surfing, snorkel, sunbath or eat as the fancy takes you.

On the sea you can watch the fishing boats and the lifeboat, spot seals in the harbour or dolphins in the bay, take boat trips or go fishing.

In the evenings have a barbeque on the beach, a drink in a bar, a meal in a restaurant, go to see a show or watch a film or just relax in our comfortable cottage.

There is plenty in the town to keep everybody entertained whatever the weather.

For artists the attractions of the Tate Gallery and Barbara Hepworth Museum speak for themselves or if you are more creative why not try a painting holiday?

If you want to travel further afield in Cornwall you can visit Penzance, Land's End or The Eden Project.

Tin mines, stately homes, a seal sanctuary,  satellite station, fabulous walks and dramatic scenery, it's all there waiting for you.
